Processing method: Bay Leaf Essential Oil is steam distilled from the fresh leaves of the Bay tree. The temperature of the steam is carefully controlled to preserve the fragile organic compounds which give the Essential Oil its unique benefits and aroma.
Description: The evergreen Bay tree can grow up to 65 ft (20 meters) and is native to the Caribbean Islands. Since the time of the ancient Romans, the aromatic dark green leaves have been prized as a symbol of peace, wisdom and protection.
