Description: Clary Sage is a herb that’s native to southern Europe. It has big, hairy leaves and tiny purplish-blue flowers (both of which are used in the extraction of Essential Oil) and can grow up to 3 feet (1 meter).
The word “Clary” in Latin is “clarus”, meaning cleansing or clarifying. That explains why Clary Sage has been used as an eye cleanser since many thousand years ago.
