Extraction Method: Ginger Grass Essential Oil is steam distilled from the wonderfully aromatic grass. Steam is carefully controlled so that only Essential Oil is released without destroying the temperature-sensitive aromatic and botanical compounds in it.

Origin: India

Description: Ginger Grass is a herb native to India but now it’s cultivated in many different parts of the world. It can grow up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) and has long, slender stems, flowering tops and aromatic grass.

While being called “ginger”, Ginger Grass is actually more closely related to Lemongrass.

Blends well with: Rosewood, Geranium, Cananga, Sandalwood, Cedarwood and floral essential oils

Aromatic Scent: Ginger Grass Essential Oil has a penetrating, green scent with pepper and lemon notes. If you’re looking for a scent that’s similar to the ginger spice aroma, Ginger Root Essential Oil may be more appropriate.
