I don't know what real tuberose smells like, I only read about it. But to me I find it is strong, exotic and floral, with notes of spice, neroli, magnolia, a hint of coconut/gardenia. as I said, it is strong, so you only need to use a little, and it makes an excellent modifier in perfume making. It is not very tenacious on it's own as I would imagine the absolute would be. So far I do find it beautiful. But I am still checking it out in my perfume blends, which seem to be coming out very nice, and will eventually buy the absolute to compare. The absolute is very expensive, but I am sure it would be worth it.
